Use of CNC metal processing in speakers
1. Metal Speaker Casing
Process:
Material: 6061 aluminum alloy/304 stainless steel, integrated by 5-axis CNC milling, wall thickness can be controlled between 0.8-2mm, balancing lightweight and rigidity.
Surface treatment: Sandblasting anodizing (matte texture) or mirror polishing (Ra ≤ 0.1 μ m) to enhance fingerprint resistance and wear resistance.
Advantages:
Seamless structure reduces resonance and ensures low-frequency purity;
Precision heat dissipation hole design (aperture tolerance ± 0.05mm) optimizes sound wave diffusion.
2. Diaphragm
Process:
Material: Titanium alloy/magnesium alloy, achieved high rigidity and low quality through ultra-thin CNC turning (thickness 0.1-0.3mm).
Topology optimization: biomimetic honeycomb structure milling, resonance frequency increased by 30% (such as Beryllium diaphragm).
Advantages:
Reduce segmentation vibration and extend high-frequency response to 40kHz;
Suitable for Hi End headphones/monitoring speakers.
3. Internal Bracket and Waveguide
Process:
Multi material composite: aluminum+carbon fiber insert, ensuring acoustic symmetry through CNC precision assembly of hole positions (coaxiality ≤ 0.01mm).
Complex surface: 5-axis linkage processing parabolic waveguide surface to reduce sound diffraction.
Advantages:
Accurate alignment of the supporting unit diaphragm to reduce phase distortion;
The surface roughness Ra of the waveguide is ≤ 0.4 μ m, which suppresses high-frequency burrs.
